The ID protection service allows you to protect your private or corporate WHOIS data. By default, when you register a domain name, your registrant information becomes publicly available for anyone to read. With the ID protection service activated, your info will be instantly masked and the WHOIS query will return the domain name registration service provider's details instead of yours.
